• Provides basic technical support to field and construction groups
• Utilizes and improves processes and standards
• Provides reporting, including presentations to work groups and management
• Position may be required to work extended hours including major storm restoration work

Technical Specialist 1, Distribution Engineering

• Reporting to the Supervisor/Manager this position is responsible for executing routine technical activities and coordinating and supporting more complex technical deliverables
• Provides technical assistance in support of others
• Applies technical knowledge to help promote a safe work environment and to enhance customer satisfaction
• Assist and performs assignments in specialized areas requiring technical skills
• Supports projects within scope, schedule, and cost
• Supports review of functional specifications for completeness and consider practical limitations
• Collaborates with design activities as a member of a multi-disciplinary technical team
• Supports with basic work planning, budgeting and cost estimating
• Supports development and updating single line diagrams, and design drawings, and equipment specifications
• Supports material procurement
• Supports QA/QC process
• Provides technical support to field and construction groups
• Assist with and improvement processes and standards
• Collaborates with reporting, including presentations to work groups and management.
• Position may be required to work extended hours including major storm restoration work and associated drills as assigned.

• Identifies development needs and collaborates with Learning and Development
• Addresses employee relations issues and conducts investigations
• Coaches managers on performance management, conflict resolution
• Analyzes HR data and prepares reports
