About the role
- Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient frontend applications using StencilJS, TypeScript, and SCSS
- Contribute to the development of common, reusable user interface components and component libraries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement user interface requirements
- Engage in peer code reviews, share best practices, and contribute to the team's continuous improvement
- Ensure Lucidworks user interfaces are implemented consistently across products
- Work with the design team to translate concepts into functional and visually appealing interfaces
- Optimize frontend applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our component libraries
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our build and deployment processes using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and ArgoCD
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience
- 1-3 years experience working with modern frontend frameworks and libraries (StencilJS experience is a plus)
- Experience with StencilJS, TypeScript, SCSS
- Experience contributing to component libraries and design systems
- Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins, and ArgoCD
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations
- Enthusiastic, go-for-it attitude; when you see something broken, you can’t help but fix it
- Urge for delivering quickly and effectively, and iterating rapidly
- Resourceful: willing to jump in, be agile/flexible, leverage existing resources to accomplish goals, and able to work independently
