About the role

  • Analyse and interpret complex market data to deliver actional insights and foward-looking forecasts.
  • Deliver robust, data‑driven views on short‑, medium‑ and long‑term LNG market fundamentals.
  • Developing and maintaining our in-house market models, embracing an ethos of continuous technological development to help ensure our modelling solutions remain relevant.
  • Continuously work to improve on internal research tools, processes and production environments You will ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
  • Supporting improvements to the content and design of our analytical tools, charts, and tables
  • Monitor LNG trade flows as part of a rotation and ensure the data is of good quality
  • Support and build strong relationships with clients by attending client meetings and responding to queries regarding, market, content, analytics, reports and quantitative models.

Requirements

  • Up to 2-3 years of relevant experience in data analysis of supply and demand commodity fundamentals
  • Natural curiosity and a detailed oriented approach
  • Ability to synthesise, structure, and explain the in-depth analysis
  • Strong grounding in statistics and/or operational research
  • Good programming skills (MATLAB, Python, or R)
  • Experience in developing fundamental models is preferable
  • Experience in the global LNG market is preferable
  • Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken English
