About the role
- Lead the transformation of the global network into a programmable, self-healing, and highly resilient platform
- Develop and own the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for Network Automation
- Champion an "automation-first" culture across the organization
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product owners, devops engineers, and software developers
- Establish and govern enterprise standards for network automation
- Oversee architecture of a scalable and secure automation platform
- Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code methodologies
- Partner with the Cybersecurity team to embed security controls in automation solutions
- Communicate program's progress to executive leadership
Requirements
- Progressive experience in network engineering, architecture, and automation
- Significant experience in a leadership role managing global technical teams
- Proven experience in a financial services or service provider environment
- Demonstrable experience designing and delivering a large-scale network automation roadmap
- Deep technical knowledge of WAN, LAN, Data Center, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and DDI
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, Java/Spring, C#, Terraform, and Git
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and compliance automation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
