About the role
- Take full accountability for planning, execution, and delivery of finance integration across acquisitions
- Own and deliver structured Day 1, 30, 100 integration plans, ensuring all finance milestones are achieved on time
- Act as the central point of accountability for integration delivery, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and timelines
- Ensure seamless transition of acquired entities into Group finance operations with minimal disruption
- Lead, coordinate, and prioritise activities across multiple concurrent integrations
- Provide direction and oversight to Finance Integration Leads, Analysts, and wider finance teams
- Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and accountability across all integration workstreams
- Ensure robust financial control frameworks are implemented across all acquired businesses
- Oversee assessment and enhancement of financial processes, controls, and governance
- Deliver high-quality reporting and insight to senior leadership and support investor-level reporting requirements
- Mentor and develop junior finance team members, building capability in acquisition accounting and integration processes
Requirements
- Qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Able to plan and prioritise
- Excellent IT skills - Experience of Microsoft suite of products, Word, Excel etc.
- Line management experience essential
- Prior experience of acquisitions integrations
- Hands on experience of acquisition integration.
