About the role
- Drive sales by identifying and aiding in the recruitment of premium segment financial advisors and teams; Attract leading advisors to join LPL from top global banks, wirehouses, and RIAs; Develop sales and recruiting strategies; Research, source, and engage with prospects; Own advisor segments of pipeline from initial contact to joining LPL; Meet with prospective advisors to demonstrate LPL’s value; Navigate long sales cycles with multiple buying influences; Train and educate internal staff on recruiting premium advisors; Improve recruitment practices and source diverse candidates; Understand and articulate LPL’s business model and affiliation options; Partner with BD leadership on evolution of LPL’s offering; Identify external organizations and attend events on behalf of LPL; Serve as subject matter expert empowering BD team; Leverage data to track KPIs and ensure alignment to company priorities
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry; Proficiency in the RIA marketplace and in working with wirehouse advisors; Willingness and ability to travel 60% of the time; Must reside in and/or be willing to relocate; Series 7, 66, and 24 preferred; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred; Strong familiarity with MS Office and Salesforce; Superior verbal, written, and listening skills; Consultative and relationship building skills; Experience partnering with cross-functional teams; Successful track record managing and closing complex sale
