About the role
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and designers as part of LPA’s integrated, multidisciplinary design process.
- Take ownership of projects from concept through completion, contributing across all phases of design and delivery.
- Partner with Project Managers and Project Designers to execute project tasks, including coordinating and overseeing interior documentation.
- Prepare and manage design development and construction documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Lead and oversee the production work of junior designers, providing guidance and quality control.
- Review, coordinate, and process construction administration documents throughout the construction phase.
- Conduct and organize research on materials, products, and construction methods to support design solutions.
- Receive mentorship from project leaders and managing directors while actively mentoring and supporting the professional growth of junior designers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Interior Architecture.
- 5+ years of professional experience across all phases of interior architecture projects.
- Actively pursuing CID certification (or currently certified) and LEED accreditation.
- Proficiency in Revit; working knowledge of Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Strong understanding of building codes, applicable regulations, construction materials, and specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with creativity, innovation, and design vision throughout programming, design, and project execution.
- Commitment to producing high-quality, well-coordinated construction documentation.
