About the role

  • Disciplinary and technical leadership and development of the entire operations team
  • Overall responsibility for smooth operational processes
  • Ensure fulfillment of all contractually agreed customer requirements (e.g. SLA, quality and performance KPIs)
  • Responsibility for workforce planning, including capacity management and cost control
  • Control and monitoring of personnel costs (personnel expense cost item in cost accounting (BAB) in relation to contribution margin 1/DB1)
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and internal requirements regarding occupational safety and fire protection

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or degree, preferably with a focus on Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially Excel
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Practical experience with dashboards and BI tools for analyzing and managing operational KPIs
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a comparable role
  • Very good German skills (C1) and good English skills (at least B1)
