Manager

• Serve as a key system-oriented project lead in a high-impact development department.
• Act as a project manager and strategic partner to support the execution of fundraising activities across Institutional and Individual priorities.
• Responsible for managing the grants calendar, contributing directly to the drafting of proposals and reports, and tracking deadlines across all income streams.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of institutional support, from initial research and tracking deadlines to the final submission of proposals and reports.
• Coordinate cross-departmentally with Program and Finance teams to gather necessary data, budgets, and project updates in a timely manner.
• Draft and edit compelling grant narratives, LOIs, and stewardship reports.
• Ensure all grant-related requirements are met, including credit line fulfillment, final reporting, crediting, and project tracking.
• Proactively manage and build the organization’s prospect list, identifying new foundations and corporations using research tools.
• Serve as the central project manager for the Development department, maintaining the comprehensive master calendar for all institutional grants, individual appeals, and special events with an eye toward improving coordination and efficiency.
• Work with the Development Assistant to maintain CRM (Salesforce); support gift processing, acknowledgment workflows, and data hygiene.
• Act as a bridge between Development and other departments (Programs, Finance, Communications) to ensure a cohesive flow of information.
• Support the execution of cultivation & institutional events, including LMCC’s annual Gala, through on-site assistance and event lead up as needed.

Senior Development Manager

• In partnership with executive leadership, develop and implement an integrated fundraising plan to grow individual giving.
• Oversee donor communications, acknowledgments, and stewardship strategies.
• In collaboration with the Director of Institutional Giving, project, manage, and re-forecast the annual development department budget.
• Directly supervise the Development Assistant and development interns, providing mentorship and support to ensure team success.
• Supervise Independent Contractors (as needed).
• Work closely with the President, Board, and other senior leaders to align development strategies with organizational goals.
• Develop strategies to foster meaningful, long-term relationships with individual donors, including major gifts.
• Lead the planning, production, and execution of the annual gala and other large-scale fundraising events.
• Coordinate all event logistics for cultivation events, including sponsor relations, venue, entertainment, and auctions.
• Lead the sales strategy for gala and other cultivation events including collaborating closely with the Board of Directors and event committees to secure high-level event sponsorships.
• Plan and execute special cultivation events to engage current and prospective donors.
• Collaborate with program staff to align funding priorities with organizational needs and goals.
• Oversee donor data management, ensuring accurate records in the CRM/database.
• Generate reports on fundraising progress and regularly present updates to leadership and the Board.
