About the role
- Develop and execute a strategic go-to-market plan to secure new key accounts across mainstream, wellness, and beauty retail sectors.
- Research and identify high-potential retail partners using platforms such as LinkedIn, RangeMe, and industry databases.
- Create and present tailored business cases and pitches to internal stakeholders and potential partners.
- Represent Lovehoney Group at key industry trade shows and events.
- Act as the primary contact for key ecommerce and brick-and-mortar retail accounts in North America.
- Design and implement tailored sales and marketing programs for each account, driving growth through cooperative marketing and promotional efforts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Customer Care teams to support account success and product launches.
- Conduct store visits and ecommerce site audits to ensure merchandising excellence and brand consistency.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts with combined annual revenues exceeding $1M USD.
- Provide accurate brand and account-level sales forecasts and performance tracking.
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends to proactively adjust account strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within the consumer goods or retail sector.
- Proven success in securing listings with top-tier department stores, big-box retailers, or lifestyle ecommerce accounts.
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar retail accounts with demonstrated year-over-year growth.
- Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel quarterly across North and South America.
