About the role
- Team leadership: Enable, motivate and develop your dedicated team.
- Central point of contact: Take responsibility for special topics related to food safety and quality; act as the primary QM contact for logistics matters.
- Crisis management & culture: Actively participate in the crisis team and support communication in case of incidents and in fostering a food safety culture.
- Continuous improvement: Develop corrective actions and verify their implementation.
- Audit champion: Responsible for implementing IFS and ISO 9001 at the plant; manage internal and external audits.
- Strategic development: Develop food safety and quality guidelines together with QM teams in Germany and Poland.
- Process design: Migrate processes into a process management software and update manual documentation.
- Digitalization & innovation: Drive the introduction of innovative AI solutions within Quality Management.
Requirements
- Degree in food technology, food chemistry, or a comparable qualification (e.g., Master/Bachelor or completed training in food technology)
- Several years of experience managing quality management processes in the food industry
- Confident knowledge of food safety (IFS, BRC) and quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 22000)
- Solid experience supporting customer and certification audits
- Proficient English in speaking and writing (B2 level)
- Open to using modern software solutions such as Google Workspace/Drive, SAP S/4 HANA, Trello or Miro
- Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities
- Responsible team player
- Motivation to continuously develop the food safety culture
