About the role

  • Shape growth and inspire customers
  • Identify and capitalize on sales potential with your accounts
  • Implement national agreements on assortment, distribution and marketing
  • Take responsibility for customers' sales and profit results
  • Conduct negotiations and promotions on an equal footing
  • Keep the market constantly in view and plan budgets and margins
  • Coordinate closely with field sales, marketing, supply chain and finance
  • Support the Group Account Manager in strategy development
  • Represent and present the brand at trade fairs and exhibitions

Requirements

  • Successfully completed university degree or degree from a University of Applied Sciences
  • Several years of professional experience in the branded goods industry, including at least 2–3 years in Key Account Management
  • Knowledge of the German retail sector and expertise in applicable ECR tools
  • Category management expertise and an affinity for sales, category management and market analyses (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, SimIT, Drotax, SAP BI)
  • Proactive, with strong business development / acquisition skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and approach
  • Team player capable of cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience and solid knowledge of standards and processes in merchandise/retail operations
