About the role

  • Lead the development of end-to-end features for Loopio’s web platform
  • Drive architectural decisions and system-level designs across teams
  • Build technology for bug prevention in software
  • Gather user feedback for creating a user-centric experience
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to iterate on features
  • Mentor and coach teammates to foster knowledge-sharing
  • Contribute to AI roadmap with evaluation of third-party models and technical guidelines
  • Lead technical design discussions and influence decision-making

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering complex software systems at scale
  • Strong experience in backend/API development using PHP, Python, or Java
  • Experience in frontend development with knowledge of React and JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL
  • Proficient in using and designing RESTful APIs
  • Mentorship skills with experience in technical guidance, coaching, design, and code reviews
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, including LLMs and integration with AI APIs
  • Comfortable facilitating technical discussions and decision-making
  • Experience in Typescript, AWS, Cypress, Elasticsearch is a plus
