Attorney

• Work directly with attorneys, paralegals and other team members in Longroad’s legal department and gain exposure to a variety of legal disciplines and functions, including operations, corporate governance, and real estate
• Assist with and support matters falling under: real estate, permitting & local affairs, commercial, corporate and regulatory matters
• Assist in the review and drafting of corporate governance documents for consistency and compliance
• Assist with implementation of company internal policies and procedures
• Review and draft basic contracts
• Developing and/or updating systems for tracking matters that the legal department manages (e.g., corporate matters, NDAs, UCCs, etc.)
• Potentially visit operating wind and solar projects (funding will be provided for travel)
• Participate in onboarding, structured work experience, mentoring, and exposure both to department-specific and company-wide personnel and activities as part of the 10–12-week summer program

Legal Intern

Operations

• Report to the Manager of Origination & Development Operations
• Assigned a project likely related to market research and/or process improvement
• Support daily activities of the Origination & Development Operations team
• Assist in preparation of written proposals in response to Requests for Proposal (RFP) for renewable energy agreements
• Create and maintain marketing materials for presentation to customers and partners
• Manage database(s) to track development team activities
• Perform market research to identify market opportunities and risks
• Prepare materials for management presentations
• Participate in a 10–12-week summer internship program including onboarding and mentoring

Origination and Development Operations Intern

• Aid in the development of KPIs tied to Longroad’s Work Order Management System
• Work with field Managers to enact improvements within systems
• Perform data entry as required to drive improvements
• Collect feedback from field team on potential improvement ideas to the system
• Become proficient in the Work Order System to the point where able to help in the development of training materials for the field
