About the role

  • Lead the design, development, and long-term ownership of our core integrations platform and services.
  • Understand customer workflows and their business impact.
  • Champion and implement practices that improve our entire development lifecycle.
  • Actively raise the skill level of the engineers around you through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
  • Pioneer and evangelize the use of AI development tools within the team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building and running complex backend systems.
  • Solid experience with Node.js and PHP.
  • A proven track record of working in the integrations space.
  • Strong understanding of modern backend building blocks: API best practices; message queues (RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS or similar); relational data stores (PostgreSQL or similar); and cloud services (AWS or similar).
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated mastery of AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, …) and a passion for coaching others in their use.
