About the role
- Implement design changes, create responsive pages, and manage updates utilizing a CMS.
- Take ownership of web development projects, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and provide regular project status updates.
- Optimize online marketing content to improve search performance and user experience.
- Perform general content updates across LFCU.com, landing pages, and digital touchpoints in collaboration with internal and external resources.
- Execute complex HTML, JavaScript, and CSS updates to enhance website functionality and performance.
- Ensure cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, navigability, and usability of digital assets.
- Align web content with marketing strategies, including SEO and SEM, making recommendations to optimize online opportunities.
- Verify website content accuracy and use monitoring tools to identify and fix broken links, errors, and misspellings.
- Review, renew, and update website content to maintain accuracy and timeliness.
- Translate Photoshop and Figma mockups into functional, responsive web applications.
- Act as the web/digital consultant for the department by providing recommendations, problem-solving, and quality assessments.
- Adhere to company design and style guidelines to maintain brand consistency.
- Update and maintain existing company websites to ensure content remains current.
- Participate in team meetings, daily standups, planning sessions, and code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in UX development
- Completion of a certification program/degree is a plus
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS 3+, and JavaScript
- Experience with front-end toolkits like Bootstrap
- Working knowledge of the latest web development trends, including experience with responsive web development
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Figma is a plus
- Proficiency in debugging, testing, and developing front-end features
- Collaborating on web projects to build user-friendly, responsive interfaces
- CMS (content management system) experience such as Sitecore, WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla
- Experience with marketing automation systems such as HubSpot and Braze preferred
- Experience with Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager preferred
- Knowledge of .NET, SASS, jQuery, ReactJS, Angular.js (or any other JavaScript MVC frameworks) is a plus
- Ability to manually write, test, and maintain functional code within IDEs like VS Code to build user-friendly web applications
- Use existing tools/processes to solve tasks/issues assigned to them
- SEO experience is a plus.
