About the role
- ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management for clients in DSP.\n
- Escalation point for Tier 2 Administrators; direct incident/problem/change resolution.\n
- Collaborate with Managed Services architects; develop new service offerings.\n
- Provide training and guidance to Tier 2 Administrators on new technologies and processes.\n
- Writes KB articles to document technical processes and procedures.\n
- Proactively identify gaps in customer environments; propose enhancements to client environments.\n
- Coordinate outages with Service Delivery Managers; support on-call rotation.\n
- Identify processes for automation; implement repeatable tasks.\n
- Track time in designated systems; stay current with technologies.\n
- Maintain compliance with policies and laws; act with honesty and professionalism.\n
- Travel may be necessary between Logicalis offices.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Azure deployment and support services for IAAS or PAAS based solutions\n
- Experience with managing Windows, Linux servers in cloud environment including automated patching, site recovery\n
- Experience with cloud-based databases such as SQL server\n
- Experience with Azure role-based access\n
- Familiar with Azure networking including WAN connectivity, hub-spoke model, NSGs, App Gateways\n
- Azure ExpressRoute setup and support\n
- Experience managing containers in Azure cloud (Docker or Kubernetes)\n
- Office 365 / Exchange / Hybrid Exchange\n
- Teams Calling administration\n
- Intune Management and support and Endpoint Management\n
- Microsoft Server 2016+ build and troubleshoot\n
- Reasonable technical understanding and ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into easily understood business concepts and vice versa.\n
- In depth understanding of TCP/IP LAN/WAN networking technologies and troubleshooting techniques.\n
- Experience working in projects in support of large-scale programs: Scripting (PowerShell, Python Terraform)\n
- Automation (Chef, Puppet, SCCM, Ansible)\n
- IAM Access and Identity management (AAD, RBAC, and MFA)\n
- Connectivity management and setup (Azure Bastion, Lighthouse, Partner Center)\n
- Cloud tools (Azure Resource Manager, Azure Command Line, Azure Security Center, Azure Automation, Azure Update Manager)\n
- Computer virtualization technologies including Hyper-V and vSphere\n
- Computer OS operation, hardening, and standards including Windows and Linux designs\n
- Application and web operation, hardening, and security including Apache and IIS web servers, WebLogic, SQL and Oracle databases\n
- Security compliance experience such as ITIL, PCI, ISO 27001 or SOX\n
- Exposure to: Software Defined Data Center (SDDC)\n
- Software Defined Networking (SDN)\n
- IDS/IPS reporting and defense strategies\n
- Business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation\n
