Develop concept system designs to include robot counts, productivity estimates and description of operations.
Provide technical support and insight on discovery and roadmap calls.
Facilitate system demonstrations and site visits for prospects.
Perform data analysis to assess requirements.
Support the sales team in proposal development to include ROI and savings estimates.
Support implementations with customer’s technical staff.
Provide technical context in competitive comparison calls.
Represent Locus Robotics in onsite customer visits and at trade shows.
Other responsibilities as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related degree a plus).
4+ years of experience in solutions design or industrial engineering, preferably in distribution or logistics operations.
Data analytics experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and PowerBI.
Prior experience with warehouse automation in solution design or process improvement.
Experience with WMS and related logistics software, including integration with platforms such as Manhattan Associates and Blue Yonder.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Prior experience with AutoCAD for fulfillment centers/warehouses.
Knowledge of simulation applications, such as FlexSim.
Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced environments- multiple projects concurrently and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
Ability to travel up to 30% across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
