About the role
- Operational management of the licensing business in day-to-day operations (creating new licenses, renewals, activation of trial licenses)
- License modifications and conversions as part of customer migrations
- Close collaboration with the Infrastructure team to coordinate technical and process-related licensing requirements
- Advising the Sales team on license models, terms and available options
- Direct communication with customers on all license-related topics
- Accurate, complete documentation of all licensing activities and changes
- Analysis, optimization and (partial) automation of existing licensing processes
- Professional support during the implementation of a new ticketing system from a licensing perspective (requirements definition, testing, acceptance)
Requirements
- Professional experience in license management or in a comparable operational or system-related role
- Practical experience with tools such as HubSpot, MS Office and Zendesk
- Experience with OTRS and/or Lobster is a plus but not required
- A strong affinity for process optimization and automation
- A structured, detail-oriented and service-focused way of working
- Enjoy working with diverse stakeholders (Sales, Customer Systems, Infrastructure and customers)
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
