About the role
- Manage Accounts Payable Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
- Manage payment runs and vendor communications.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries.
- Maintain accurate AP aging and ensure timely settlement of obligations.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
- Support Month-End Close & General Accounting Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals.
- Support balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records within the general ledger.
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial reporting.
- Ensure Accuracy, Controls & Documentation Maintain organized documentation for all accounting transactions.
- Assist in strengthening accounting processes, internal controls, and workflows.
- Collaborate Across the Business Partner with operations to resolve cross-functional AP-related questions.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendor and AP inquiries.
- Support ad hoc accounting projects and initiatives as the company scales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Experience with spend management platforms such as Ramp, Brex, or Bill.com is preferred.
- Working knowledge of basic financial reporting principles.
- Experience with accounting software/ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
