About the role

  • Manage Accounts Payable Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
  • Manage payment runs and vendor communications.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate AP aging and ensure timely settlement of obligations.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
  • Support Month-End Close & General Accounting Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Support balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records within the general ledger.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial reporting.
  • Ensure Accuracy, Controls & Documentation Maintain organized documentation for all accounting transactions.
  • Assist in strengthening accounting processes, internal controls, and workflows.
  • Collaborate Across the Business Partner with operations to resolve cross-functional AP-related questions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for vendor and AP inquiries.
  • Support ad hoc accounting projects and initiatives as the company scales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
  • Experience with spend management platforms such as Ramp, Brex, or Bill.com is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic financial reporting principles.
  • Experience with accounting software/ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
