About the role
- Support customer-specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for our top shippers
- Use critical thinking to identify and forecast potential challenges with load operations
- Manage communication and resolve load-related challenges as they arise
- Work with the customer's Transportation Management System (TMS) to ensure timely updates and accurate information
- Collaborate with customers to ensure their TMS is consistently updated promptly and accurately
- Utilize phone, email, SMS, and other messaging tools to consistently and proactively communicate with carrier partners and drivers to confirm and track in-progress load events
- Consistently meet performance expectations in both service and tracking
- Identify and report any delays or issues with upcoming, active, or past loads to key stakeholders
- Support and act with urgency in tracking and tracing shipments to ensure service expectations are met
- Proactively gather necessary information and drive urgency with carrier partners on upcoming load events
- Collaborate with team members on the Sales and Operations teams to ensure smooth freight delivery
Requirements
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to maintain high levels of customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective problem-solving skills; able to think outside the box
- Familiarity with U.S. geography
- Self-motivated, go-getter attitude with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
- Call center customer service experience is a plus
