About the role
- Providing administrative support to all functional areas of Accounting and Human Resources
- Entering accounts payable vouchers
- Reviewing and approving expense reports
- Reviewing timecards for semi-monthly payroll processing
- Preparing 401(k) and HSA submission files
- Supporting onboarding functions including employee profile set up in Costpoint, Bamboo, and Employee Navigator
- Processing new hire paperwork and benefit enrollments
- Monitoring department email inbox
- HRIS data entry including benefit changes and status changes
- Maintaining and monitoring annual training and certification due dates
- Posting jobs on state veteran sites
- Assisting with annual Affirmative Action Plan data preparation
- Filing documents in personnel files
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous accounting, human resources, and/or data entry experience
- Ability to meet established deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or any time in the future.
