About the role
- Lead a portfolio of existing private equity backed and leveraged corporate clients
- Monitor clients financial performance, covenants and ESG factors to assess credit quality
- Lead credit events including covenant resets, amendments and incremental facilities
- Find opportunities to enhance the Bank’s risk/reward profile
- Collaborate with clients, private equity sponsors, coverage teams and internal stakeholders to support refinancing and new business
- Contribute to internal and regulatory reporting and support wider team initiatives
Requirements
- Background in credit risk management and leveraged finance, within a large financial institution
- Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills, including understanding of client trading information and financial accounts
- Experience managing complex client relationships and transactions
- Familiarity with leveraged finance structuring, private equity sponsors and ESG considerations
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting or leading colleagues in a team environment
