About the role
- Lead and empower a team of specialists to proactively manage exceptions from cash, stock and finance reconciliations
- Represent Markets Operations at governance forums, providing insight-rich data and analysis
- Provide quality control over financial transactions contributing to regulatory returns and SOX reporting
- Build strong, influential relationships across Operations, Finance, GCOO Group Reconciliations
- Maintain a forward-looking view of industry change, Group strategy and external regulatory developments
- Develop, coach and motivate your team
- Champion innovation, driving new processing models and improved risk-mitigation approaches
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of markets products, end-to-end systems and operational risk
- A proven ability to turn complex business and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable delivery plans
- A strong track record of delivery in complex, multi-dimensional, fast-moving Financial and Capital Markets environments
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- In-depth understanding of global regulatory, statutory and audit requirements
