About the role

  • Lead and empower a team of specialists to proactively manage exceptions from cash, stock and finance reconciliations
  • Represent Markets Operations at governance forums, providing insight-rich data and analysis
  • Provide quality control over financial transactions contributing to regulatory returns and SOX reporting
  • Build strong, influential relationships across Operations, Finance, GCOO Group Reconciliations
  • Maintain a forward-looking view of industry change, Group strategy and external regulatory developments
  • Develop, coach and motivate your team
  • Champion innovation, driving new processing models and improved risk-mitigation approaches

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of markets products, end-to-end systems and operational risk
  • A proven ability to turn complex business and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable delivery plans
  • A strong track record of delivery in complex, multi-dimensional, fast-moving Financial and Capital Markets environments
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • In-depth understanding of global regulatory, statutory and audit requirements
