Conduct initial investigation and triage of cyber incidents, with support from senior team members
Assist in maintaining and tuning detection rules and playbooks
Support proactive threat hunting and contribute to threat modelling activities

Requirements

Formal training in cyber security (e.g. degree, apprenticeship, professional certification, or equivalent practical experience)
Understanding of threat detection concepts, security operations, and common tools (such as SIEM platforms)
Ability to analyse security logs and events
Familiarity with attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Willingness to join an on-call rota and regular weekend working
