💰 $95,000 - $185,000 per year
About the role
- Responsible for scope, fees, and the profitability of individual projects as well as a portfolio of projects
- Point person and firms contact with clients while functioning as project manager
- Assists in new sales with clients for which they are managing projects
- Guides and coordinates all internal LJB transportation disciplines, with sub-consultants, and clients
- Responsible for the nine knowledge areas, according to the Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Responsible for assisting the Deputy Operations Manager in maintaining PM best practices
- Apprise Deputy Operations Manager of employee performance on particular projects
- Assist in informal development of other employees
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering required
- P.E. license required, North Carolina PE is preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in consulting or engineering is required
- 5 years of project management experience is preferred
- Experience working on DOT design projects is required
- MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, and Civil-3D software experience is preferred
