About the role
- Review and analyze changes in regulations/trade initiatives
- Identify opportunities and threats to Livingston’s corporation and compliance policies
- Provide direction on required changes to corporate and compliance policies
- Build and maintain close relationships with government agencies and associations
- Oversee and administer compliance of regulations
- Assist other departments in developing new policies and procedures
- Support Marketing for client inquiries and issues
Requirements
- 5 years of related experience
- Working knowledge of Customs regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in selecting and interpreting information
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to handle stress and occasional tight deadlines associated with regulatory changes
