About the role
- Own and manage our social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, Twitter/X), including strategy, content creation, scheduling, and performance reporting.
- Create and manage video content — from concept through filming/editing to publishing.
- Develop a content calendar aligned with campaigns, seasonal trends, and business priorities.
- Monitor trends and platform updates to keep our content fresh and relevant
- Engage with our community across platforms — responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, on-brand way.
- Build authentic relationships with followers and foster a sense of community around our brands.
- Identify, vet, and manage influencer relationships and campaigns when they arise
- Coordinate gifting, deliverables, and performance tracking for influencer partnerships
- Explore brand partnership and collaboration opportunities to drive awareness and growth
- Plan and execute social giveaways from concept to completion
- Support PR efforts as needed — including press outreach, product sends, and media relationships
- Collaborate with the team on photoshoots and asset creation
- Manage and organize the brand asset library (photos, videos, graphics)
- Report on social performance and share insights to inform strategy
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or a related marketing role — brand-side or agency experience both welcome
- Strong knowledge of major social platforms and what makes content perform on each
- Hands-on video creation and editing skills (comfortable on-camera direction, basic editing, reels/TikToks)
- Experience managing influencer campaigns and/or community engagement
- Proven ability to manage multiple brands simultaneously while keeping each voice and visual identity distinct
- Comfortable with ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can shift
- Strong writing skills and an eye for visuals and on-brand aesthetics
- Experience with tools like Later, Canva, Adobe/Figma, Asana, or similar platforms is a plus
- Data-savvy — comfortable pulling metrics and using them to tell a story and refine strategy
