About the role

  • Utilize project management framework to drive project teams and ensure completion of complex cross departmental projects
  • Review a project from multiple angles to understand dependencies and downstream impacts
  • Recommend and oversee project teams to ensure flawless execution of projects
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and team leaders for alignment
  • Proactively identify risks and prepare potential solutions before they happen
  • Determine and address operational issues, driving continuous improvement, constantly iterate on making LivCor and the team BTTY (Better Today Than Yesterday)
  • Leverage budgeting best practices to budget, forecast, and track project expenses
  • Work directly with senior leadership and stakeholders on projects
  • Establish strong methods and cadence of communication across the project team
  • Communicate clearly with team members, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and build trust and relationships with project teams through reliability and empathy
  • Provide substantive and timely updates to senior leadership on projects
  • Ability to manage up – frequently asking Executive team sponsors to remove roadblocks
  • Train other LivCorians on Project Management Guide
  • Change Management for LivCor as we continue to adopt Project Management practices
  • Provide feedback and assist with tactical decisions on the continued improvement of the Project Management Office Guide in evolving project management best practices
  • Lead and develop team members, fostering collaboration and a high-performance culture
  • Potentially have direct reports

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience working with complex projects and initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work across multiple departments and with many stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A project management certification or desire to obtain one
  • Understanding of a full project or product lifecycle
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Asana, and project management tools
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, drive results, solve problems, and possess interpersonal skills
  • Strong data analytics
  • Meticulously organized in digital systems while maintaining some flexibility
  • Excellent time management
  • Experience in Multi-Family Real Estate is a plus
