About the role
- Reviewing rights and making Lionsgate’s catalogue available digitally
- Coordinating assets through the home entertainment supply chain
- Supporting process improvements based on content lifecycle analysis
- Creating library and new release film and TV avails in Movielabs/EMA format specifications for key distribution partners, working closely with the Canadian sales team
- Creating and supplying global avails for Library and Catalog Titles
- Comprehending and applying contractual terms, pricing policies, revenue models and various business structures to distribution of digital media
- Maintaining dashboards, reports, and operational tools to improve sales visibility and execution
- Querying rights and avail records to discover unutilized distribution opportunities
- Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of deliverables
- Engaging with varying levels of management at Lionsgate, retail partners, strategic vendors, and industry as a whole
- Acting as a liaison between internal departments to facilitate efficient communication and workflow
- Supporting ad-hoc research projects as required and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong ability to communicate effectively, both internally and externally
- Genuine passion for Lionsgate films, television series, and the wider media & entertainment industry
- Ability to evaluate and solve problems within technical areas such as programming and distribution
- Aptitude for analyzing complex datasets, preparing reports, and drawing meaningful conclusions
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with an advanced skill set in Excel
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring thorough documentation and accuracy in all tasks and communications
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders
- Ability to juggle and manage multiple priorities
- Interest in programming languages such as VBA, SQL, Python or formats such as JSON
- Familiarity with the Canadian media landscape is a strong asset
- Enterprise-level SaaS tools (e.g., SAP) a plus
