QA Automation Engineer

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure consistent product quality
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to drive measurable performance gains
• Develop and maintain process documentation including SOPs, control plans, PFMEAs, and work instructions
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve bottlenecks and improve line reliability
• Lead the design, programming, and deployment of automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and vision systems
• Manage integration of new technologies into existing production lines with minimal disruption
• Oversee troubleshooting, upgrades, and lifecycle management of automated equipment
• Partner with IT and OT teams to ensure secure, scalable data connectivity and system interoperability
• Plan and execute capital projects related to manufacturing expansion, automation upgrades, and equipment installations
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Track project KPIs and report progress to senior leadership
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of manufacturing and automation engineers/technicians
• Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
