About the role
- Provide administrative support for travel agencies, wholesalers, and international travel partners.
- Provide inbound and outbound phone and email support for travel advisors seeking sales direction for new inquiries, existing reservations, and customer service assistance.
- Provide travel advisors with promotional materials & collateral as requested.
- Handle travel advisor escalations and liaison with the relevant departments to resolve.
- Provide commission reconciliation support.
- Manage records, cases and communication via Salesforce pertaining to new and existing advisors and agencies.
- Assist with all travel advisor educational travel requests.
- Maintain and update travel agency database in Salesforce, Seaware, and advisor training platform.
- Provide administrative support for the sales department by submitting client invoices as needed.
- Maintain a friendly and outgoing disposition, assisting in strengthening our relationship with all B2B partners.
- Attend industry events, as permitted depending on workload.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in sales and customer service support in the travel industry preferred.
- Excellent English verbal and writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of product, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent skills in administration, detail-oriented, strong time management with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent phone communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Attendance at industry events required as needed.
