💰 $115,000 - $140,000 per year

About the role

  • Oversees all medical services across the Lindblad Expeditions’ fleet
  • Assists with medical policy development, staffing, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensures compliance with international regulations and public health authorities
  • Recruits and helps onboard shipboard medical personnel
  • Develops and coordinates onboard training programs
  • Assists with medical emergency response planning
  • Manages procurement of medical equipment and supplies

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD, DO) or advanced healthcare qualification (RN, NP, PA) preferred
  • 5+ years of clinical or healthcare operations experience
  • Prior maritime, cruise, remote medicine, or emergency medicine experience strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of maritime medicine, public health, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent crisis management and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills
  • Proficient computer skills in the Windows operating system, including both word-processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Excellent technical writing skills
