About the role

  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned territory and products, assessing impacts, and collaborating with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions
  • Champion and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives
  • Serve as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects
  • Identify and recommend process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality
  • Consult/analyze more complex assignments and/or projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned premier brokers in the U500 block of business
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with premier brokers through both proactive and responsive contacts to maintain and develop preferred status
  • Lead and manage the scheduling, planning, execution, and required follow-up for various broker meetings (stewardship, enrollment, ad-hoc, etc.)
  • Facilitate discussions with brokers to support client acquisition, re-enrollment, and business retention
  • Proactively anticipate brokers' issues/concerns and recommend mitigation solution(s) to planners in order to meet client expectations
  • Identify clients with risk of retention & notifies brokers and/or management
  • Develop relationships with the sales teams and share opportunities for sales growth
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a positive customer experience
  • Process less complex member management, enrollment and billing updates to deliver quick resolution, and optimize the customer experience to our clients and brokers

Requirements

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • 3 - 5+ Years experience in relationship management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
