About the role
- Leads the design and implementation of a robust reporting and analytics framework to measure pricing execution and performance against targets.
- Oversee development of forecasting capabilities to predict quote outcomes for new and inforce customers.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of reporting by championing process reliability and continuous improvement.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of internal quoting systems, data flows, and technical requirements to support reporting and analytics.
- Maintains various tracking tools to and develops them further to support achieving our profitability and growth goals.
- Consumes and interprets technical information to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Provides thought leadership on pricing analytics and reporting strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
- Coaches and develop team members, fostering technical and business expertise.
- Builds strong engagement with internal stakeholders, aligning with organizational values and leadership attributes.
Requirements
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative major (Required)
- 5 – 7+ Years actuarial experience aligned to the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)
- Upon Hire Certifications/Licensures: (FSA)
- 2+ years leadership experience
- Group Benefits Pricing Experience (Preferred)
- Proficiency with SQL and Dataiku
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
- Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
