About the role

  • Step into the world of global finance with Lincoln Electric’s 2026 Finance and Accounting Development Program!
  • This is an outstanding entry level position that will expose you to various processes within the Corporate Accounting & Finance function.
  • Members of the Finance & Accounting Development Program will rotate over a two-year period in a variety of functional areas, including Financial Reporting, General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Development, etc.
  • They will also assist in Corporate Accounting / Finance projects and initiatives.
  • Potential Projects Support audits of newly acquired businesses, including inventory validation and integration of financial controls.
  • Prepare financial reports that highlight key performance metrics, trends, and variances to support decision-making.
  • Assist in building and updating financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual filings (10-Q, 10-K).
  • Assist with audits of key financial and operational controls across various business units.
  • Assist with physical inventories for divisions and subsidiaries.
  • Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance by June 2026
  • Eligible to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.
  • Pursuing or achieved a master's degree or CPA designation.
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
  • Previous Accounting or Financial experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Must be highly motivated and possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
