About the role
- Step into the world of global finance with Lincoln Electric’s 2026 Finance and Accounting Development Program!
- This is an outstanding entry level position that will expose you to various processes within the Corporate Accounting & Finance function.
- Members of the Finance & Accounting Development Program will rotate over a two-year period in a variety of functional areas, including Financial Reporting, General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Development, etc.
- They will also assist in Corporate Accounting / Finance projects and initiatives.
- Potential Projects Support audits of newly acquired businesses, including inventory validation and integration of financial controls.
- Prepare financial reports that highlight key performance metrics, trends, and variances to support decision-making.
- Assist in building and updating financial forecasts and annual budgets.
- Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual filings (10-Q, 10-K).
- Assist with audits of key financial and operational controls across various business units.
- Assist with physical inventories for divisions and subsidiaries.
- Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance by June 2026
- Eligible to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.
- Pursuing or achieved a master's degree or CPA designation.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Previous Accounting or Financial experience.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Must be highly motivated and possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
