About the role

  • Support the technical execution of multiple Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) from kickoff to completion
  • Ensure AGVs meet RedViking’s quality, performance, and safety standards
  • Develop clear technical plans and effectively communicate them to functional teams
  • Review scope of work (SOW) and customer specifications
  • Develop technical specifications and plan for entire project
  • Assess technical project timelines and budget
  • Line up function teams
  • Critical Component selection and approval
  • Engineering document(s) creation and approval (FEMA, Risk Assessment, ATP, etc)
  • Technical liaison to customer
  • Develop product R&D needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5-10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (or CAD equivalent)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Project, etc)
  • Experience in manufacturing and automation
  • Emphasis on professional and technical communication
  • Ability to travel as needed to ensure project success: average of ~20%
