About the role
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in accounting by validating critical transactions
- Coordinate monthly closing and validate reports in Hyperion
- Prepare and manage statutory financial reports, VAT returns and tax audits
- Review account reconciliations and ensure internal controls
- Maintain SOX and FCPA compliance, manage audits
- Coordinate annual inventory count
- Serve as a point of contact for accounting and tax queries
Requirements
- Master/Bachelor degree in Business or Accounting
- 5-10 years of experience as chief accountant in general accounting
- Knowledge of US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Austrian accounting principles and tax laws
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; Hyperion beneficial
- Fluent in English and German
- Beneficial: International tax and transfer pricing experience, controlling and project accounting in automation experience
