About the role

  • Create source code for PC base industrial control systems.
  • Design and program PLC logic for custom machinery (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley preferred).
  • Develop HMI interfaces for operator interaction.
  • Test and debug control programs to ensure reliability.
  • Integrate motion control systems, sensors, and safety devices.
  • Support on-site installation and commissioning of programmed systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues during build and post-installation phases.
  • Maintain software documentation and version control.
  • Coordinate with contractors during installation for programming adjustments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in PLC and HMI programming.
  • Proficiency in Rockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View, or Siemens TIA Portal.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, ProfiNET).
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and comply with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirement.
  • Experience with robotics and motion control programming (preferred).
  • Familiarity with safety PLCs and advanced diagnostics (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple programming tasks (preferred).
