Capable sending individuals on the road to finish open issue lists and install tooling changes using prints and work together with controls group to finish jobs abroad without supervision.
Basic programming of material handling and spot-welding robots using grippers and spot guns.Capable of shimming tools to customer gages and can interpret CMM data to make adjustments to tooling.
Maintain a skills inventory score indicative of a level II or higher technician
Willing to travel up to 40% of the time to customer sites
Maintain a skills inventory score indicative of a level I or higher technician

Requirements

High school or GED
Vocational High School or Technical College or Equivalent Experience.
2-3 years’ workable experience as a Robot Technician
RIA certified (Basic robot technician)
Intermediate robot knowledge of 1 type of robot and at least 1 type of welder. (Lincoln Power supply recommended)
