About the role
- Act as key advisor for the Commercial and Government Field Sales and Deal Desk teams
- Manage deals from concept to booking, including deal structure, quoting, pricing, and partnering with the Sales team to ensure the deal is correctly booked
- Maintain and enforce agreed-upon departmental review and approval SLAs
- Assist in interpreting contractual language and escalate to ensure deals comply with revenue recognition and operational policies
- Oversees the Sales deal queue to provide assistance and advice on complex deal questions, maintain SLAs, and handle complex and/or non-standard requests
- Partner with Sales Operations and Sales Systems teams to facilitate process and system improvements, sales enablement
- Deliver relevant training to new and existing Sales reps on Deal Desk and Order Booking
- Oversee management and negotiation of contracts with third-party vendors and contractors
- Manage LILT’s Vendor Management Program and mitigate risk exposure from Vendors
- Manage LILT’s Compliance Program and ensure LILT meets all the required regulatory requirements in the countries in which LILT operates
- Provide thought leadership on the emerging regulatory environment in the AI policy space and advise LILT’s leadership team to ensure LILT is best positioned to navigate the regulatory landscape
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree
- 5-7 years of Deal Desk experience with Commercial and Public Sector customers
- Start-up experience
- International experience a plus
- Experience working with Enterprise customers and Enterprise contracts
- Strong interest in AI Tech Regulatory Policy
- Proven success in the Enterprise Managed Services B2B Industry
- Proven success in negotiating Federal Contracts
- Proven success partnering with GTM Teams and other cross-functional departments
- Proven success in Direct and Channel Sales models
- Strong understanding of software revenue recognition and order process principles required
- Highly organized, customer-focused, innovative, and strong attention to details
- Strong business acumen, strong reporting and analytics, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, professional, and open to feedback
- Ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume, schedule flexibility during month/quarter/year-end
- Strong quantitative skills and highly proficient in G Suite, Salesforce.com, and CPQ tools
- Experience with Sales compensation plans
