About the role
- Provide psychotherapy services and skills training for clients (ranging from infants to adults) with mental illness and/or mental health needs.
- Deliver services in-person at clinics, in community, and via telehealth when preferred.
- Document clinical interactions and use electronic systems for communicating and documenting for clients and staff.
- Manage a flexible clinical schedule and appropriately manage referrals.
- Participate in licensure supervision opportunities while pursuing professional licensure.
- Travel between client homes, clinics, and community-based locations as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree with eligibility to become licensed as a LMFT, LPCC or LICSW
- Enrolled in, or a recent graduate of a graduate school/program in mental health
- Knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health within the family.
- Knowledge of varied interventions with children/families/individuals in crisis
- Proficient use of computers for communicating and documenting for clients and staff.
- Strong skills in managing a flexible schedule and ability to appropriately manage referrals.
- Ability to transport self between client homes/clinic and/or community based locations
