About the role

  • Collect and analyse all field claims related to combustion engines from service systems: warranty, dealers databases
  • Calculate failure rates
  • Identify trends, recurring issues, and abnormal failure rate
  • Build dashboards and reports summarizing claim evolution over time
  • Retrieve, structure, and preprocess ECU data sent from customer machines, connected fleets, or dedicated field-test programs
  • Analyse logs to identify abnormal behaviours, early degradation indicators, limit exceedances, or rare operating conditions
  • Compare machine usage profiles against expected duty cycles to detect misuse or unexpected operating patterns

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies (university / technical college) in the field of mechanical engineering / automotive manufacturing
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Data Science, or related fields.
  • More than 5 years of experience in similar field
  • Engine systems knowledge including failure modes
  • Relevant KPI for reliability (MTBF, MMTF, B10 Lifetime, Failure Rate)
  • Business intelligence (Power BI, AI)
  • Data science (Matlab, Python, etc.)
  • MS Office
