About the role
- Design and optimization of hydraulics, gears and gearboxes components, assemblies and systems whilst taking account of technical, scheduling and financial aspects (design to cost from the customer requirements)
- PLM management (BOM creation, lifecycle promotion, etc)
- Drawing and BOM changes etc.
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with the corresponding departments within the project environment
- Tolerance calculations
- Cooperation with component suppliers for the clarification of technical properties of components and common component development (co-design)
- Contribute to FMEA
- Support local component development with respect to cost and quality.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies (university / technical college) in the field of mechanical engineering manufacturing.
- More than 8 years of experience in similar field.
- Engine systems knowledge
- PTC Creo
- Windchill / Albatross
- MS Office
