About the role
- Serves as a trusted advisor to senior and executive leadership, providing strategic HR guidance and support
- Provides HR leadership and support within a manufacturing environment, ensuring alignment with operational goals and workforce needs
- Partners with manufacturing leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives
- Provides guidance to managers on employment law issues and escalates concerns as required
- Leads and manages complex employee relations issues with a focus on resolution and risk mitigation
- Drives change management initiatives to support organizational transformation and growth
- Applies strong business acumen to understand key drivers of organizational performance and contributes to business planning
- Leverages data and analytics to improve decision-making and to measure HR effectiveness
- Supports workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning efforts
- Champions a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion, and employee engagement
- Collaborates across HR functions to implement programs that foster a high-performance culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-2 years of HR experience; or an equivalent combination of education and direct Human Resources experience
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role, preferably within a startup environment
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to guide and influence Human Resources initiatives
- Proficiency in HR software and tools
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
