About the role

  • Own the end-to-end performance, reliability, and usability of key business applications to ensure they are fit-for-purpose and aligned with current and future business needs.
  • Contribute technical oversight and guidance in projects and problem-solving, especially where deep understanding of ERP, BI, or software development is required.
  • Manage or oversee delivery of major application changes, upgrades, and system integrations, ensuring value to the business.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to optimise existing applications and business processes through automation, configuration, or new technologies.
  • Maintain close working relationships with key departments to ensure systems are aligned with operational needs and strategic goals.
  • Implement and maintain application governance frameworks, including access controls, licensing, data privacy, and audit readiness.
  • Provide direction and support to internal staff and third-party vendors involved in application development and support.
  • Work closely with the General Manager – IT to define and execute the applications strategy in line with the broader IT and business strategy.
  • Have a strong commitment to safe work environment and continuous improvement.
  • Be a self-starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Degree qualifications in Information Technology.
  • Current driver’s license (C class minimum).
  • ITIL Foundation.
  • Agile or Scrum certification.
  • BI platform certifications.
  • Cloud platform certifications.
  • DevOps or Software Development certifications.
