About the role
- Design, develop, and implement automated systems, software, or machinery
- Automating production lines and streamlining IT workflows
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement
- Troubleshooting automation to bring process-related equipment online
- Serving as engineering authority for warehouse automation equipment
- Ensure proper configuration, calibration, and optimization of automation equipment
- Diagnose root causes of mechanical, electrical, or controls issues
- Develop, program, and simulate automated machinery and control systems
- Analyze workflows and identify opportunities to automate tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical) or Bachelor’s in Industrial Technology
- 2-3 years’ experience, or AAS with emphasis in automated distribution, fulfillment centers, or material handling engineering and at least 3-5 years’ experience
- Experience with MHE automation OEMs (e.g., Dematic, Vanderlande, SSI, etc.) desired
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and control logic
