About the role

  • Lead the global implementation of SAP MDG as a centralized master data hub
  • Manage, coordinate and steer multiple internal and external stakeholders, including global business units, IT teams and the external SAP MDG implementation partner
  • Act as the single point of contact for the external implementation partner to ensure delivery quality, scope adherence and milestone achievement
  • Design and maintain global master data processes, data models and approval workflows
  • Define and enforce global governance frameworks, standards and decision-making structures
  • Oversee the integration of SAP MDG with SAP and non‑SAP systems in a heterogeneous landscape
  • Drive global rollout planning and execution across regions
  • Define and deliver a scalable 24x7 operations and support concept for SAP MDG, including roles, responsibilities and handover models

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on experience with SAP MDG, preferably in global or large-scale implementation programs
  • Strong expertise in master data governance models, operating models and process ownership
  • Proven experience managing external implementation partners and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders in complex programs
  • Solid background in managing international rollout projects across regions and cultures
  • Strong understanding of SAP ERP environments and system integration concepts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
  • Structured, assertive and results-oriented working style with a governance mindset
  • Fluent in German and English
