About the role
- As an IT Business Consultant (m/f/x), you will serve as the central interface between the business units and IT.
- Advise our business divisions and affiliated companies on digital transformation initiatives and ensure effective alignment between production business units and IT.
- Analyze and optimize business processes and promote best practices within production.
- Coordinate initiatives to develop conceptual (pre-)studies to recommend comprehensive approaches for achieving business objectives.
- Work with stakeholders to define and document IT requirements.
- Support IT projects from requirements management through implementation and oversee the entire service delivery lifecycle.
- Contribute to the selection of new IT solutions.
- Conduct workshops and presentations for stakeholders.
- Work closely with Domain Architects, Demand Managers and Solution Architects.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent qualification
- Solid knowledge in production/manufacturing
- Several years of consulting experience
- Experience in process analysis and modeling (e.g., BPMN)
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Analytical mindset and structured way of working
- Fluent in German and English; proficiency in an additional European language at B1 level is a plus.
