About the role
- Act as the primary interface between business units and IT
- Advise our divisions and subsidiaries on digital transformation initiatives
- Ensure effective business–IT alignment across the relevant domains
- Analyze and optimize business processes, promoting best practices in one or two of the domains: Customer Service and Logistics & Warehousing, as well as Quality Management
- Coordinate initiatives to develop conceptual (pre-)studies and recommend a comprehensive way forward to achieve business objectives
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and document IT requirements
- Support IT projects from requirements gathering through implementation and oversee the full service delivery lifecycle
- Contribute to the evaluation and selection of new IT solutions
- Lead workshops and deliver presentations for stakeholders
- Work closely with Domain Architects, Demand Managers, and Solution Architects
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
- Solid expertise in at least one business domain, e.g., Production
- Several years of consulting experience
- Experience in process analysis and modeling (e.g., BPMN)
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Analytical mindset with a structured working style
- Fluent in German and English; proficiency in another European language at B1 level is a plus
